In the role of Power Civil/Structural Digital Design Specialist, we'll count on you to:

Work for Civil/Structural discipline with minimal direction from the Engineer or other technical professionalBe responsible for the Civil/Structural model and generate the 3D design elements based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scopeCreate and maintain the Civil/Structural and multi-disciplinary model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery outputTo be skilled with the software used to produce the designs identified in the Digital Delivery requirementsHave mastered Civil Site and Structural design disciplines and how it interacts with other design disciplinesHave an advanced understanding of engineering/construction documentation and plan presentation for Civil/Structural disciplines, and a general knowledge of other disciplinesMentor and develop the Digital Design staff within the Civil/Structural disciplineAccurately model 3D elements in the correct spatial constraints of the modeling environment, using the current 3D softwarePrepare detailed drawings, layouts, diagrams of the design within the project scope, schedule, and budget, using the current 3D softwareMaintain the discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, matchlines, views, and sheetsProduce discipline specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling outputMonitor, improve, and maintain company standards and model health. Coordinate the design with other discipline models through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processesExecute all Design Delivery requirements identified on the projectMentor and develop Digital Design staff within their disciplineContribute to the development of the business class digital needs

Preferred Qualifications:

10 years relevant experience with Autodesk Civil 3DFamiliarity with Bently products a plus, but not requiredDemonstrated desire to learn new softwareRequired Qualifications
Technical degree or a combination of education and relevant experienceA minimum of 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and  3 years digital delivery (model management) experienceComprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems   Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructureAdvanced skillset of 3D Coordination toolsAdvanced skillset of Microsoft Office products and communication toolsFamiliar with industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specificationsFamiliar with basic automation and programming applications for efficienciesFamiliar with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applicationsFamiliar with content creation and management conceptsSuperior client service, communication, and presentation skills are essentialDemonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively serve as a first line of technical support
