We are looking for a highly skilled PowerBuilder Developer to join our team with more than 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have proven experience developing and maintaining desktop (client/server) applications with PowerBuilder, strong expertise in DataWindow, and solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL. The role requires both technical depth and the ability to collaborate effectively in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using PowerBuilder.Build, edit, and optimize DataWindow objects to efficiently manage and display data.Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions across relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase).Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles within PowerBuilder projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure best practices and maintainability.

Essential Technical Skills

Proven hands-on experience with PowerBuilder development.Experience with Appeon PowerServer for deploying and transforming applications to the web.A strong understanding of the tools and technologies used to enable web versions of traditional PowerBuilder applications.Knowledge of Appeon PowerBuilder (modern versions supporting cloud deployment, REST APIs, and newer technologies).Expertise in DataWindow creation and optimization.Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase).Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Advanced English level.

Nice to Have:

Experience with other programming languages such as C#, .NET, or Java for integrations and modernization.Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), using Agile or traditional methodologies.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
