**BI Developer (** **locale candidates only because require going on site for interview in New York City).** **Duration: 1 year (extendable** **Work location: 333 Avenue, New York NY 10001** **)** **35 hour/week.** **Required to work 3 days on site (Policy is subject to change in future)** **Working as Experis employee 75.00 per hour with benefits** **Working thru employee corp. to corp. 85.00** **Project:** Special Education Student Reporting and Analysis **Required Skills/Experience:** + Expertise in Designing and Developing dashboards using data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI. + Knowledge of ETL Processes, Data Warehousing, Data Modelling + Proficiency in creating DB views, functions, stored procs + Skilled at MS Excel including advanced features such as Pivots + Strong Ability to query data and manipulate data using T-SQL + Must have worked with a large amount of data. + Understanding of Data Security and its importance is critical. + Good Communication and Documentation skills. + Proficiency in Python. + Technologies: MS SQL Server, T-SQL, Python, Power BI, SAS, other BI tools **Responsibilities:** + Design, Develop and Maintain BI interfaces to meet operational, management and regulatory needs. + The BI interfaces include query tools, data visualization and interactive dashboards, ad hoc reporting, and data modeling tools to support the division with regulatory, operational, analytical and management reporting for students with disabilities. + Translate business requirements into technical requirements for integration into BI Interfaces. + Create and maintain technical documentation for BI tools. + Work collaboratively across the organization to develop business requirements for BI interfaces. + Participate in the Creation and implementation of the data models and database designs required for data integration into BI interfaces used for decision making. + Develop reporting, BI and analytical cubes/models used for integration in BI interfaces. + Actively participate in working sessions to help define system requirements pertaining to the design and building phases for all BI processes.
