Power BI Developer

We are seeking a Power BI Developer to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Power BI Developer at Marsh, you will be responsible for converting existing Tableau dashboards to Power BI, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, transforming data into actionable insights, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet business intelligence needs.

We will count on you to:

Convert Tableau Dashboards: Transition existing Tableau dashboards to Power BI, ensuring functionality and visual coherence in the new environment.Design, develop, and publish interactive Power BI reports and dashboards based on user requirements.Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to gather and understand data sources.Transform raw data from various sources into meaningful insights through effective visualizations.Ensure data quality and integrity by performing data validation and cleansing tasks.Optimize Power BI performance and troubleshoot any existing issues within reports and dashboards.Stay updated on Power BI features and industry trends to recommend enhancements.Provide training and support to users on Power BI functionality and best practices.

What you need to have:

Strong experience in designing and reporting on KPIs/metrics for a large global enterprise.     Strong data analytics capability and experience in communicating technical content to non-technical audiences. Attention to detail is critical. Expertise in translating data into visual metrics including complex graphs and charts.Must be a self-starter requiring little or no supervision to perform their daily tasks, can work towards agreed goals, and seek opportunities for enhancements where possible.Undergraduate degree in Computer Science (CS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), other related degrees, or equivalent experience5 years working on various Reporting Tools such as Power BI and Tableau.5+ years performing data visualization and reporting for executive audiences.Advanced Level of English is a Must
