How you will make contributions that matter:

We’re looking for a dedicated Powder Operator to join our Plant team in Allansford. This is a hands-on, hybrid role that spans both the drying and packaging stages of milk powder production. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

You’ll operate and monitor evaporators, spray dryers, and powder handling equipment, while also supporting packaging, palletising, and hygiene processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor dairy processing equipment including evaporators and spray dryers.

- Handle and package finished powder products using automated systems.

- Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate production records.

- Perform routine cleaning (CIP/manual) and preventative maintenance.

- Report safety, quality, and environmental issues promptly.

- Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience:

- Previous experience in FMCG or dairy manufacturing (highly regarded).

- Forklift licence (highly desirable).

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Good computer literacy (experience with digital software such as SAP, is highly desirable).

- Ability to work in a team and follow detailed procedures.

- Physically fit for manual handling and standing for long periods.
