**Paint Helper - Garland, Tx** **1st Shift - $20/hr** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Paint Helper to join our team. Our company, a family-owned business with over 50 years of experience, specializes in producing custom electrical enclosure solutions. We serve a diverse range of customers, including Material Handling Systems, OEM, Building Automation Systems, and Distribution. **Responsibilities** + Hang parts on the paint line, requiring constant lifting of materials weighing up to 50 lbs. + Work with aluminum and other metals/materials consistently weighing 50 lbs or more. + Assist with spray painting and blasting tasks, ensuring high-quality finishes. + Sand, grind, and prep materials for painting and coating. + Operate hand tools and perform general labor and assembly tasks. **Essential Skills** + Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. + Experience with spray painting and blasting. + Proficiency in sanding, industrial painting, and coating processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with powder coating, industrial paint preparation, racking, and sandblasting. **Work Environment** The work environment includes a non-climate-controlled area with large fans throughout the site, except for the paint booth, which is an AC climate-controlled room. The paint booth is an industrial space and may be dirty.
