**Powder Coater - Garland, Tx** **$20/hr - 1st Shift** **Job Description** Join a reputable and family-owned Texas-based company that has been a leader in producing custom electrical enclosure solutions for over 50 years. You will be part of a team that services a range of clients, including Material Handling Systems, OEMs, Building Automation Systems, and Distribution. **Responsibilities** + Perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs consistently. + Hang parts on the paint line and engage in constant lifting. + Work with aluminum and other metals/materials weighing 50+ lbs. + Assist with spray painting, blasting, sanding, and industrial paint coating. + Use hand tools for grinding and production tasks. **Essential Skills** + Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. + Experience in spray painting and blasting. + Proficiency in sanding and industrial paint coating. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with powder coating, paint preparation, and racking. + Familiarity with sandblasting and prepping processes. **Why Work Here?** Become part of a family-owned business with a long-standing history in the industry. The paint area is air-conditioned, providing a comfortable workspace. Personal Protective Equipment, including eye glasses and ear plugs, is provided to ensure your safety while working in this dynamic setting. You will work the first shift from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garland, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
