**Job Title: Powder Coat Painter**
**Job Description**
In this role, you will apply powder coating to metal parts, operate a powder coating spray gun, load powder into the machine, and mask parts as required per customer specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning the powder coating machine.
**Responsibilities**
+ Examine and inspect components for defects prior to powder coating.
+ Prep, hang, and powder coat metal parts using automated and manual systems
+ Apply powder coating to metal parts.
+ Operate powder coating spray gun.
+ Load powder into the machine.
+ Mask parts as per customer specifications.
+ Clean the powder coating machine.
**Essential Skills**
+ 2+ years of powder coating or industrial painting experience.
+ Familiarity with electrostatic spray equipment and conveyor/batch systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with gauges, mics, blueprints, or calipers is a big plus.

**Work Environment**
The work takes place in a nice-sized metal shop that is not temperature controlled. It can get warm in the summers, especially near the ovens.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeville, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
