Poway, CA - Warehouse Worker - 1st Shift

Job Description

The warehouse worker will handle a variety of tasks including unloading and loading trucks, wrapping products, and general material handling duties.

ResponsibilitiesUnload and load trucks efficiently.Pull equipment from containers.Palletize products for storage and shipment.Wrap and strap products securely.Perform heavy lifting as required.Execute other warehouse duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in a warehouse environment or general labor environment for 6 months to 1 year.Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.Proficiency in palletizing and wrapping products.Attention to detail.Capability to follow instructions meticulously.Maintain good attendance.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift operation experience is beneficial.Willingness to submit to a drug test.Why Work Here?

Employees are offered cross-training opportunities and the potential to transition from contract to hire. Upon conversion, a 5% cost of living adjustment is added to their pay.

Work Environment

The role is based in an open facility operating Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. The environment may become warm during hot weather, but breaks and refreshments such as water and Gatorade are provided to ensure comfort during extreme temperatures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
