JOB DESCRIPTION:
The POS Audit Assistant is responsible for the preparation of daily closeouts by comparing daily sales to financial reports for errors. Our responsibilities include maintaining logs and secure files, which serve as supporting documents to verify payments.
We work closely with internal and field managers to ensure all errors are corrected by the end of the company’s monthly calendar. Our department reports Accounting and Audit, which contributes to accurate accounting journal entries, and accountability.
How you will Own It:
Accountable for maintaining accurate detailed closeouts while maintaining all department logs. Punctual reporting of all overages/shortage and any out of compliance issues by the end of each reporting month.Preparation of detailed closeouts, emails, and closeout foldersPerform detailed reviews of retail transactions with the ability to identify errorsAssist stores with general instructions on how to resolve errorsSupport the business operations by reviewing financial results and assisting with the delivery of supporting documents. Demonstrates attentions to details, analytical and critical thinking and basic arithmetic skillsAbility to work under pressure demonstrates initiative and priority of workload which includes the ability to be organized, maintain accurate logs, able to follow up with field and internal management, and able to compose prompt detailed reporting emailsDemonstrated interpersonal skills that promote mutually beneficial, respectful, and professional relationships.What you’ll Bring:
