Portfolio & Planning Solution Architect
Portfolio & Planning Solution Architect

Job Description

You were made to do this work: designing new technologies, diving into data, optimizing digital experiences, and constantly developing better, faster ways to get results. You want to be part of a performance culture dedicated to building technology for a purpose that matters. Here, you’ll work in an environment that promotes sustainability, inclusion, wellbeing, and career development while you help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world.  It starts with YOU.

In this role, you will:

Platform Integration Design & Oversight: Architect and steward integration patterns between the PPM platform and enterprise systems (Finance, HRIS, Work/Agile tools, Identity), ensuring designs are scalable, resilient, and aligned to enterprise data, security, and architecture standards.

Data Architecture & Performance: Define and optimize the PPM data model (hierarchies, objects, fields, relationships) to support portfolio analytics, capacity planning, benefits tracking, and executive reporting with trusted, high‑performing data.

Automation Engineering & Workflow Enablement: Build and refine automations (notifications, routing, validations, SLAs) that remove manual effort, improve data quality, and enhance the user experience—with configuration over customization wherever feasible.

Technical Governance & Release Management: Establish and maintain technical standards, environment strategy, release/version controls, and change processes that protect platform stability, security, and auditability.

Configuration Management & UX Simplification: Configure intake forms, prioritization models, delivery workflows, scoring frameworks, and role‑based views that make it easy for portfolio, program, product, and resource leaders to do the right thing by default.

Identity, Access & Compliance Controls: Implement role‑based access, SSO/SAML/SCIM integrations, and least‑privilege models that balance usability with data protection, segregation-of-duties, and compliance requirements.

Cross‑Functional Technical Liaison: Serve as the technical bridge among Enterprise Architecture, Data/Analytics, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Finance, and vendor/implementation partners; translate business processes into scalable designs and future‑state roadmaps.

Adoption & Support Enablement: Partner with change/enablement to provide admin‑level documentation, release notes, and role‑based training that drive adoption and sustained value; triage advanced platform issues and small enhancement requests.

End-User Support: Platform Administration, Configuration, & Customization

User Lifecycle Management: Create and manage user accounts, permissions, roles, license allocations, and portfolio-based access controls. Maintain role-based security models aligned to data governance and operational needs.

Initial Support Contact: Serve as the first point of contact for end-user technical issues, functional questions, or small enhancement requests. Partner with change management to deliver training, documentation, and onboarding resources.

Customization & Scripting: Develop platform scripts, rules, and configurations that streamline processes and support operational workflows. Leverage native platform capabilities wherever possible, ensuring configuration precedes customization.

Configuration Management: Configure intake workflows, forms, scoring models, custom fields, and delivery workflows across the PPM platform. Support process standardization across Programs, Portfolios, Products, and Resource Management.
