Portfolio Manager (Specialist/Principal)
**Position** : Portfolio Manager (Specialist/Principal) - contract to hire **Start Date** : ASAP **Compensation** : 55-59/hr W2 **Location** : LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY. Candidates are expected to be onsite 3 days/week in **Golden Valley, MN.** **Length of Engagement** : 3-6 months and will evaluate converting or extending contract engagement **Hours/Week:** 40 hours Our client is looking for someone who can work independently, bring clarity in ambiguous situations, and build strong relationships across stakeholders. The ideal candidate has the confidence and executive presence to support decision making while proactively driving alignment and process maturity. • Facilitates the annual planning process (business case, prioritization, etc.) and associated deliverables • Strategic partner to Business Sponsor, helping drive alignment of initiative within organizational goals; engage in critical discussions and challenge assumptions where necessary • Provide Business Sponsor with relevant data, insights, talking points, and recommendations to enable them to ask the tough questions and make informed decisions • Facilitate regular core team dialogue to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment creating an environment that encourages open and productive discussion among core team members • Analyze initiative performance focused on budget and resources; identifying key trends and working on ad hoc queries by leaders • Support initiative review meetings with Product Managers and Program/Project Managers to ensure appropriate decision making, delivery against OKRs, financials, etc.; provide deliverables as required • Support Resource & Capacity Planning activities in partnership with the Portfolio Analysts • Identify unplanned demand and support the overall intake process, enabling leadership decision making and conversation If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
