In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day-to-day management of a diverse real estate portfolio for a major university, comprising both owned and leased assets across five campuses. Reporting to the Director and supported by a dedicated PM Assistant, you will work collaboratively with our client to ensure the seamless delivery of property management and building services. Your focus will be on driving operational excellence and optimizing portfolio performance. **Here’s a snapshot of your day;** • Working closely with the client and CBRE teams to plan and deliver high-value lease and property strategies across a multi-campus portfolio. • Managing the full lease lifecycle – options, renewals, variations, licences and statutory notices – to keep the portfolio compliant and up to date. • Leading annual budgets, outgoings reviews, rent reviews and arrears management, including reporting, escalation and recovery of legacy debt. • Preparing business approval papers, financial analysis, Section 28 notices, disclosure statements and Heads of Agreement to support client decisions. • Partnering with the internal Facilities and Asset Management teams to resolve lease-related maintenance obligations, construction impacts, relocations and space changes. • Managing and developing the direct report working on this account and coordinating inputs from broader CBRE service lines. **Here are some of the strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful;** • Previous senior experience in a commercial Property Management role, ideally across complex or institutional portfolios. • A capacity to manage client expectations while balancing multiple projects, high volumes of matters and strict deadlines. • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, rent reviews, arrears management and accrual-based reporting. • A proactive, approachable and professional demeanour with a high level of attention to detail and ownership. • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interpret leases and build effective relationships with senior clients and tenants. • Certificate of Registration and thorough knowledge of the property industry and local market. **So, what’s in it for you?** • Structured career development to support you and explore your learning potential and career goals • Industry leading parental leave with free onsite kids school holiday program • True work/life balance with hybrid working, flex time, flex leave – tell us how you want to work • A range of educational, financial, lifestyle, health and wellbeing benefits and programs, corporate partnerships and discounts, CBRE Cares Foundation, competitive leave offerings and paid volunteer days • You’ll form an integral part of an enormously successful team who outperform in the market year on year and is working hard on making a positive impact **Why CBRE** When you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive.
