Provide weekly housekeeping, eye wash station inspections, support general maintenance, empty warehouse sumps, and utilize mechanical riding scrubbers throughout warehouse and support areas throughout the plant. Remove debris from warehouse racking, floors, overhead garage screens, doors, etc. Clean rest rooms/locker rooms and break rooms/lunch rooms as follows: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash disposal and general housekeeping. Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies. Must adhere to all Plant safety and governmental regulations and attend all mandatory training. **DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:** Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation **REQUIREMENTS:** Education: High school diploma or GED Experience: One year of janitorial experience in an industrial environment Minimum of three years’ experience as a chemical and/or pharmaceutical operator or directly related experience/education highly preferred. Must be willing to be trained to drive a forklift and mechanical scrubber. Other Skills/Qualifications: Must be able to do simple math, read and write English language. Must be able to work with others in a team environment. Skills/Competencies: Must be able to take simple directions and be self-motivated. **WORKING CONDITIONS:** Will spend considerable time outside in hot and cold weather. Must be physically fit to carry, push or pull 50 pounds. Must be able to work in an industrial/chemical environment. Must complete bloodborne pathogen training.
