**Job Title: Polisher and Buffer** Job Description Join our team as a Polisher and Buffer, where you will begin in the grinding department, utilizing a hand grinder to smooth rough edges and polish metal to a fine finish. This role offers the opportunity to cross-train in basic fabrication, including tasks such as cutting metal to length with a tape measure, operating a brake press, spot welding, buffing, and racking for paint. You will also assist in various departments like assembly, packaging, and paint as needed. Responsibilities + Operate a hand grinder to smooth and polish metal surfaces. + Cross-train in basic fabrication tasks such as cutting metal to specific lengths. + Utilize a brake press, perform spot welding, and buff metal pieces. + Rack metal pieces for paint application. + Assist in other departments including assembly, packaging, and painting. Essential Skills + Mechanical aptitude through work experience, school, or hobbies. + Experience with sheet metal grinding. + Proficient in reading and using a tape measure and understanding basic math. + Experience with hand and power tools, welding, and fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 6 months of manufacturing experience. + Experience in shop classes such as welding, automotive, woodworking, or machine/tool. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.84 - $22.09/hr.
