**Job Title: Polisher** **Job Description** We are seeking detail-oriented and safety-conscious Polishers to contribute to the completion of an urgent project over the next month. This is a temporary, one-month assignment, with the primary responsibility of preparing and finishing steel beams to meet quality and aesthetic standards. This role ensures our fabricated steel components are polished to specification and ready for delivery or further processing. **Responsibilities** + Polish and finish steel beams using hand tools, power tools, and polishing equipment. + Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure a smooth, clean finish. + Follow instructions to meet polishing specifications. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. + Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs. + Collaborate with fabrication and quality control teams to ensure product standards are met. **Essential Skills** + General production experience with some general labor. + Ability to use polishing and grinding tools. + Previous experience in metal polishing or a related field preferred. + Familiarity with polishing tools and machinery. + Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings. + Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. + Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. **Work Environment** Work in an industrial/fabrication shop setting with exposure to noise, dust, and metal particles. Utilize protective gear, including gloves, goggles, and masks. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime of 5-10 hours each week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
