Schedule This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with a minimum of three (3) days in-office based out of our West Sacramento office and two (2) days working remotely. This role facilitates in-person policy development workshops throughout the state of California which require overnight travel that can be for two to three (2-3) days consecutively about two (2) times a month; amount of travel is subject to change. Summary The California School Boards Association (CSBA) is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Policy Manual Consultant to join our team. Under the general supervision of the Senior Director, Policy and Governance Technology Services, you will provide policy manual drafting, development and consulting services to school districts and county offices of education throughout California. In this role, you’ll engage directly with board members, superintendents and staff to interpret educational policies and regulations, draft technical content, lead training workshops and support governance through high-quality policy services; performs a variety of other duties as assigned.
