PO Tracking Supervisor

**Position Overview**
The PO Tracking Supervisor is responsible for coaching and mentoring a team of direct reports. They will be responsible for providing their team with continual training and development opportunities. This person will evaluate each team member’s performance to ensure work is being done according to company standards. They will act as support to their team when it comes to any shipping related issues.
This role works within the merchandising operations sector and involves communication and reporting for a designated area of business. The work has a direct impact on the receipt and flow of goods to over 1,000 stores. The position involves internal interactions with merchant teams, merchandising operations and supply chain partners. Externally, the supervisor will engage with Burlington's vendor and carrier communities.
**A Day In The Life**
**Business Acumen:**
+ Demonstrate solid knowledge of supervisor and analyst roles, tools and processes, how they relate with those in other operational areas and the impact to the company.
+ Consistently seeks out ways to expand knowledge base and skillset.
+ Ability to understand, provide input, and lead team through execution of meaningful strategies, balancing short- & long-term objectives in support of transformational change.
+ Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to address and answer questions from team members and internal partners related to shipping and routing.
+ Ensure accountability, evaluate analyst daily workload and measure them against the KPIs established.
+ Aid team with tracking and researching the movement of POs from creation date to receipt.
+ Fully knowledgeable of Burlington’s routing guide, vendor manuals and all shipping processes.
+ Oversee the creation of reporting based off the needs of their team.
+ Update departmental SOPs as needed.
**Relationship Management**
+ Build strong relationships with management/peers in merchant teams as well as vendor partners.
+ Conduct monthly buyer check-ins and shadows vendor meetings with analysts.
+ Develop and foster a reputation of credibility and responsiveness to others.
+ Work collaboratively with internal and external business partners to achieve mutual goals.
+ Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
+ Consistently demonstrate active listening skills and respond appropriately. Successfully adapt communication style to different situations and audiences.

+ Ensure analysts have a clear vision of individual development strengths and opportunities to achieve personal career aspirations.
+ Consistently demonstrate critical thinking, make process improvement recommendations, and implement vetted solutions to help problem solve issues that arise.
+ Ensure the team is effectively communicating with merchants and vendor partners.
**Analysis**
+ Demonstrate the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights.
+ Publish all weekly reports accurately without errors.
+ Evaluate complex information to support strategic decision-making and optimize business outcomes.
+ Analyze performance of the team focusing on coaching opportunities, metric attainment and improving performance.
**You'll Come With**
+ 2-4 years of Retail, Logistics and/or Supply Chain related experience.
+ 2-4 Years of Supervisor / Team Lead preferred.
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint needed.
+ 4-year College degree preferred.
+ Ability to lead, train, and mentor employees individually and as a team.
+ Great written and verbal communication skills
+ Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
+ Organization and time management skills.
+ Good collaboration and teamwork abilities.
+ Great goal-setting skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions.
+ Occasional travel including trips to New York and Los Angeles buying offices as well as local DCs and stores.
