The PMO is required to have a minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, and about 2-5 years of proven experience in managing large-scale IT transition/handover projects, ideally within a managed services environment. Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget will be beneficial.

The PMO must show proficiency in a range of skills including, but not limited to:

• Project Management Expertise:

Proven proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile) and their practical application

Expertise in using project management tools for planning, tracking, risk management, and reporting

• Technical Proficiency:

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, and service delivery models.

Familiarity with different transition approaches and methodologies.

• Communication & Leadership:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and guide distributed teams, manage conflicts, and drive consensus

Proven ability to negotiate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

• Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and analyze complex issues, develop creative solutions, and make sound decisions.

• Customer Focus:

Strong customer service orientation, with a commitment to exceeding client expectations and building long-term relationships.
