Job Description
This position involves working on a fast-paced production line assembling medical devices. The role requires collaboration with a team to complete production orders efficiently. Training will be provided for 12 stations over a period of 2-3 months. Assembly tasks are performed using small hand tools under written English instructions. The work environment includes a clean room where candidates will occasionally work. Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods and adhering to clean room protocols.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with a team to complete production orders efficiently.Train on 12 stations over a period of 2-3 months.Follow written English instructions to assemble units using small hand tools.Work alongside team members or independently at a station.Maintain fast-paced work to prevent bottlenecks on the production line.Work in the clean room as needed, standing all shift long for labeling and packaging tasks.Essential Skills2 years valid visa from the date of hire.1 year of recent Canadian experience in a fast-paced product line assembly role.Comfortable working a 1-year contract.Experience with small basic hand tools such as crimpers, screwdrivers, and tweezers.Ability to work with small pieces and parts during assembly.Capability to stand all shift long.Ability to lift up to 30lbs (not repetitively).Basic computer skills.Good English communication skills, both verbal and reading.Additional Skills & QualificationsSoldering experience.PCB assembly experience in a highly regulated work environment.Ability to read instructions for soldering and match up numbers to wires.Why Work Here?

Strict clean room protocols require the removal of cosmetics and jewelry during shifts. The team size is approximately 60 people, working Mon - Fri PM Shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
