Job Description The Supervisor of Associate Land Planners will oversee a team responsible for land planning activities under the PG&E Land Planning Support (LPS) program. This role ensures compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and client expectations while driving operational efficiency and team development. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Oversight Manage and mentor Associate Land Planners, providing guidance on project execution and professional development. Monitor workload distribution and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Project Coordination Collaborate with Project Coordinators and Program Managers to align land planning activities with PG&E standards and contractual obligations. Review and approve planning documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Quality Assurance Implement and enforce quality control measures for land planning deliverables. Conduct periodic audits and performance evaluations. Compliance & Safety Ensure adherence to PG&E safety requirements and Injury and Illness Prevention Program compliance. Maintain awareness of environmental and regulatory guidelines impacting land planning. Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and client representatives regarding land planning scope and progress. Provide status updates and resolve escalated issues promptly. Skills and Requirements Required Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in land planning principles and GIS tools. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements. Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Land Planning, Environmental Science, or related field. 5+ years of experience in land planning, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Familiarity with PG&E standards and California land use regulations preferred.
