Our client, a leading manufacturer in the plywood industry, is seeking a Plywood Production Manager to join their team. As a Plywood Production Manager, you will be part of the production department supporting a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and a focus on continuous improvement which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Plywood Production Manager (DIRECT HIRE)
**Location:** Rutland, VT
**Pay Range:** $70,668 - $85,228 per year
**Shift:** First Shift - 7am-4pm with flexibility
**What's the Job?**
+ Plan production and scheduling among a team of employees.
+ Manage and oversee the ERP system for the division.
+ Coordinate schedules in a high mix environment to improve workflow.
+ Provide guidance and leadership by communicating expectations and fostering team development.
+ Participate in projects aimed at cost savings and process improvements.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor’s degree in business management/finance or engineering preferred.
+ Five plus years of management experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
+ Highly organized with strong interpersonal skills to handle multiple priorities.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
