Plumbing Service Technician
**Job Title: Plumbing Service Technician** Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Plumbing Service Technician for the Hampton Roads area. As a technician, you will provide services to a range of commercial and residential clients, including those with previously installed systems such as Wawa and various commercial buildings. Your role will involve troubleshooting plumbing systems and performing preventative maintenance. Responsibilities + Service commercial and residential plumbing systems. + Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues. + Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems. + Work with PVC piping and utilize blueprints for installations. + Install and maintain various plumbing components and systems. Essential Skills + Proficiency in plumbing and mechanical systems. + Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues. + Experience with preventive maintenance procedures. + Knowledge of PVC piping and blueprint reading. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Minimum of 4 years of service experience. + Experience in both residential and commercial plumbing. Why Work Here? Work Environment The typical work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with some weekend work if necessary. Technicians are on call every eighth week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
