Job Title: Plumbing DesignerJob Description We are seeking a talented Plumbing Designer to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting a diverse range of projects including residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. You will work alongside a team of over ten engineering professionals, receiving guidance and leadership from experienced senior engineers and designers. Responsibilities + Assist engineers in the design process by developing plans, sections, and elevations, as well as redline markups and evaluating shop drawings. + Perform calculations, size equipment and piping, and conduct BIM clash detection and resolution. + Collaborate independently and with team members on design projects, ensuring inter-discipline coordination. + Provide oversight, training, and mentorship to less experienced designers. Essential Skills + Proficiency in plumbing design and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. + Strong skills in AutoCAD and Revit. + Experience in mechanical and HVAC design. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience performing production work for an engineering consulting firm. + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BOCA RATON, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.46/hr.
