Seeking a skilled plumber and/or pipefitter to join our growing team in West Michigan! This individual will be responsible for installing various plumbing/piping components in new construction commercial and industrial buildings, typically working with copper and PEX materials. Must be comfortable with reading blueprints and project plans.
ResponsibilitiesInstall plumbing equipment at commercial sites using copper and PEX materials.Utilize hand tools and power tools for hanging, soldering, and threading pipes.Read tape measures accurately to cut and level piping installations.Ensure compliance with plumbing codes and standards during installations.Work at heights averaging 20ft, with some projects up to 100ft.Collaborate with team members and other trades on-site to complete projects efficiently.Skills & Qualifications 3-4 years of plumbing/pipefitting experience in commercial or industrial settings. Ability to operate equipment including boom lifts, scissor lifts, etc. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Proficiency in fitting and soldering copper pipes.Ability to thread pipes accurately.Experience with hydronic piping.Possession of personal hand tools such as a tape measure, channel locks, drill, and level.Comfortable working at heights with appropriate safety measures.Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.Why Work Here?Become part of an employee-owned company where you can earn shares and enjoy yearly stock bonuses. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $29.00/hr.
