Located in Parsippany, NJ Pay: $28-$40 an hour **Job Description** Work directing the installation of plumbing and related systems, equipment, and fixtures. This individual is responsible for planning, laying out, participating in, and supervising plumbing work on job sites and in the shop. The employee works with considerable independence except on large construction and modification projects, where some technical supervision is provided. Work assignments for maintenance and repair are received by Teams Construction software, written job requests, emergency call. Work is reviewed primarily by users of equipment and systems through observation and conferences while projects are in progress and upon completion. Construction and remodeling work is reviewed for compliance with specifications and building codes. Work is performed under general direction and supervision from leads on site. **Responsibilities** + Thorough knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the plumbing trade. + Ability to analyze defects in plumbing equipment and to determine necessary repairs. + Ability to read and interpret blue prints and to lay out work from prints, rough plans, sketches, drawings, and broken parts. + Cast Iron experience is a big plus. + Lay out and so forth, Looking for someone to run with helpers to run the storm or sanitary + Work with water and temporary water line, + Knows how to lay out and mark **Essential Skills** + Thorough knowledge of plumbing trade practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment. + Ability to analyze defects in plumbing equipment and determine necessary repairs. + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and laying out work from prints, rough plans, sketches, drawings, and broken parts. + Experience with cast iron and plumbing installation. + Competence in using hand tools and plumb risers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Cast Iron experience is a big plus. + Ability to lay out and mark work effectively. + Experience with running storm or sanitary lines with helpers. + Knowledge of working with water and temporary water lines.
