**Plumber Lead Hand | Richmond, BC** _Up to $60/hr_ **Job Description** Join a dynamic team working on custom yachts, where you will play a pivotal role in two ongoing projects, with two more on the horizon. This position requires expertise in copper, and offers the opportunity to engage in both slow-paced and fast-paced problem-solving tasks. You will collaborate closely with other trades, emphasizing the importance of effective communication. We are ideally looking for someone that has 3 years of experience leading other apprentices. **Responsibilities** + Perform plumbing tasks, including building and installing systems such as fresh water, salt water, black water, gray water, bilge and deck drainage, finish plumbing, HVAC, and other systems. + Manage and organize a team of 8 to 10 plumbers, spending approximately 50% of your time on the shop floor. + Read and interpret the bill of lading, input data into Excel, and obtain pricing. + Work collaboratively with other trades, ensuring clear communication. + Take a bill of lading, list vendors, and make purchase requests. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 3 years of experience as a lead hand in plumbing. + Red seal or un-ticketed journeyman certification. + Experience in maintenance and repair of plumbing systems. + Proficiency in working with copper, PVC, aluminum, and copper-nickel pipe. + Ability to read blueprints and schematics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with HVAC systems and equipment. + Trades certification. + Ability to operate tools and machinery. + Good communication and interpersonal skills. + Safety conscious and knowledgeable in this space. **Why Work Here?** Become part of a tight-knit group within the largest yacht building company in Canada.
