Plumber Foreman
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Plumber Foreman to join our team for a project currently in the rough-in phase at a school. The position requires working with PVC and PEX, utilizing blueprints and drawings to determine materials and equipment needed, and installing piping systems efficiently.
Responsibilities
Work with all PVC and PEX materials during the rough-in phase.Use blueprints and drawings to assess materials and equipment needed, pipe installation sequence, and installation around possible obstructions.Install and extend underground storm, sanitation, and water piping systems.Cut and fit pipes to establish measurements.Test piping systems with water and air pressure to maintain balance and accuracy.Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipefitting.Perform excavation and laying of underground pipes.Essential Skills
2+ years of in-field experience with PVC and PEX doing rough-ins.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.Experience in underground construction and piping systems.Physically able to perform the job, including using stairwells as no elevators are available.Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of plumbing experience doing rough-ins with PVC/PEX.Own hand tools for rough-in work; power tools will be supplied.Own personal protective equipment (PPE) including a hard hat, high visibility vest, gloves, safety glasses, work boots, and work pants.Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Quakertown, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
