**Job Title: Plumber Foreman** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing onsite troubleshooting and repairs of fire sprinkler systems, identifying code issues and non-conformance issues, and interpreting and applying NFPA 25 codes during testing. The ideal candidate will be willing to become or currently be NICET certified in Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems. **Pay:** **$22-28/hr** **Location:** **Harrison, NY** **Shift:** **7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday** **Responsibilities** + Must have OSHA 30 certification (construction safety & health) + Perform onsite troubleshooting and repairs of fire sprinkler systems. + Identify code issues and non-conformance issues. + Interpret and apply NFPA 25 codes during testing. + Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely service tickets and reports. + Communicate effectively to explain the work being done and any necessary repairs. + Perform fire pump flow tests (preferred but not required). + Perform preventative and routine maintenance as well as emergency service calls. + Handle and prepare documentation. **Essential Skills** + 1 to 3 years of experience with servicing and repair of fire protection sprinkler systems. + Ability to work with minimal supervision, paired with experienced technicians. + Willingness to become or current NICET certification in Inspection and Testing of Water Based Systems. + Understanding of all NFPA and local codes that apply (NFPA 13, 13(R), 13(D), 14, 20, 24). + Ability to discern deficiencies in the system(s) being serviced. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Backflow test and repair certification is a plus. + OSHA 10 certification is preferred. + 1-3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, deluge, and pre-action). + Ability to read blueprints. + High School/Vocational training is a plus. + Working knowledge of fire pumps and underground sprinkler systems. **PLEASE APPLY IMMEDIATELY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE!!** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
