Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Foreman to direct the installation of plumbing and related systems, equipment, and fixtures. This position requires planning, laying out, participating in, and supervising plumbing work both on job sites and in the shop. You will work with considerable independence, except on large construction and modification projects, where technical supervision is provided. Maintenance and repair assignments are received through Teams Construction software, written job requests, or emergency calls. Your work will be evaluated by users of equipment and systems through observation and conferences during and after project completion. You will operate under general direction and supervision from leads on-site.Participate actively in plumbing work both at job sites and in the shop.Receive assignments for maintenance and repair through Teams Construction software, written requests, or emergency calls.Ensure compliance with specifications and building codes during construction and remodeling.Work with leads on-site for technical supervision on large projects.Essential SkillsThorough knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, tools, and equipment of the plumbing trade.Ability to analyze defects in plumbing equipment and determine necessary repairs.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and laying out work from prints, rough plans, sketches, drawings, and broken parts.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with cast iron is a significant advantage.Experience in running storm or sanitary systems with helpers.Ability to work with water and temporary water lines.Skill in laying out and marking plumbing systems.Why Work Here?Join a company that handles plumbing construction projects throughout New Jersey, offering long-term opportunities and the potential to work on prevailing wage projects. Work EnvironmentThe role is based on-site in New Jersey, where you will collaborate with a team under general supervision. The work involves using various mechanical and hand tools, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring adherence to safety and building codes.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabeth, New Jersey. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
