**Job Title: Journeyman Plumber** **Job Description**
As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in both residential and commercial structures. You will interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layouts for plumbing materials, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with codes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
+ Interpret blueprints and building specifications to map layouts for plumbing materials.
+ Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, recommending effective solutions.
+ Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals on job sites.
+ Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and work performed.
+ Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
+ Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
**Essential Skills**
+ Valid Journeyman Plumber license.
+ High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program.
+ Minimum of 3–5 years of plumbing experience.
+ Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various environments and conditions.
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with stainless steel, copper, polypropylene, PVC, and CPVC materials and jointing methods.
+ Knowledge of brazing, electrofusion, grooving, soldering, and other pipe fabrication techniques.
+ Experience in commercial and industrial construction projects.

**Work Environment**
Work on commercial and industrial new construction projects. Utilize advanced 3D CAD capabilities for coordination, prefabrication, and installation, minimizing errors and enhancing construction quality. The work involves handling various materials and jointing methods, using industry-leading equipment for pipe fabrication in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spring House, PA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
