Job Description

Installs, maintains, and repairs plumbing systems in commercial buildings such as offices, schools, hospitals, retail centers, and industrial facilities. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety and code compliance.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures, and equipmentDiagnose plumbing issues and perform corrective actions efficientlyRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plansInstall and service commercial-grade water heaters, boilers, pumps, and backflow prevention devicesPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems

Essential Skills

Proven experience as a commercial plumber or similar roleStrong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety regulationsAbility to work with copper, PVC, cast iron, PEX, and other piping materialsProficiency with plumbing tools, pipe threading machines, and diagnostic equipment

Work Environment

Our work environment is strictly commercial and industrial with no residential services. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, though start and stop times may vary depending on the job. Expect to work an average of 40-50 hours per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Davenport, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
