Job Title: Commercial Construction Plumber

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Commercial Construction Plumber for contract work in Lynchburg, VA. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on commercial construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing codes, blueprints, and job site safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:Install and repair piping systems for water, gas, and drainage in commercial buildings.Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing codes.Cut, thread, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools.Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and commercial-grade systems.Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality.Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors to meet project timelines.Maintain a safe and clean work environment.Required Skills & Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial plumbing.Proficient in working with PVC, copper, cast iron, and PEX piping.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plumbing schematics.Strong understanding of local plumbing codes and OSHA safety standards.Skilled in using plumbing tools and equipment.Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with large-scale commercial construction projects.Familiarity with medical gas systems or fire suppression plumbing (a plus).OSHA 10 or 30 certification.Journeyman or Master Plumber license (preferred but not required).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
