**Job Title: Plumber** Job Description We are seeking an experienced plumber who is well-versed in underground, new construction work, and fixtures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with cast iron pipes, no hub systems, and installing drain waste and vent systems. You should be capable of cutting and threading pipes and reading blueprints and specifications. Proficiency in rough-ins (both above ground and underground) and finish or trim-out phases, including the installation of hardware such as toilets and sinks, is essential. Responsibilities + Perform underground and above-ground rough-ins and finish installations. + Work with cast iron pipe, no hub, and install drain waste and vent systems. + Cut and thread pipe accurately. + Read and interpret blueprints and specifications. + Install, repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems according to specifications or plumbing codes. + Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to required angles using pipe cutters, hand or power tools, pipe-threading machine, or pipe-bending machine. + Install fixtures, hangers, and pipes. + Collaborate with other contractors on the construction site. Essential Skills + Minimum of 5 years' experience in plumbing, particularly in new construction and renovation in large commercial settings. + Experience with domestic water and sanitary systems. + Proficiency in plumbing, mechanical, and piping installation. + Ability to read blueprints and perform installations with PVC, CPVC, Copper, and PEX. + Basic hand tools are required. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
