Job Title: Commercial Plumber

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled technician to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures. The role involves working with various tools and interpreting blueprints to ensure the proper functioning of water, gas, and drainage systems.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints and building codes.Install and repair water, gas, and drainage systems.Fit and install plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters.Inspect and test plumbing systems for leaks and proper function.Clear clogged drains and repair broken pipes.Maintain septic systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.Design and lay out complex piping systems using blueprints.Cut, thread, weld, and install pipes to precise specifications.Secure pipes to fixtures using clamps, brackets, or welding.Test systems for leaks and ensure pressure integrity.Collaborate with engineers and project managers.Maintain and repair high-pressure systems in power plants or manufacturing facilities.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using tools such as cutters, wrenches, soldering equipment, drain cleaning tools, and pressure gauges.Experience with welding torches, pipe threaders, cutting saws, hydraulic tools, and measuring instruments.Strong mechanical skills, troubleshooting abilities, and repair expertise.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Field service and preventive maintenance knowledge.HVAC installation experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Journeyman's License.OSHA 10 certification within the last 5 years.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
