**Job Title: Plumber** Job Description We are seeking a skilled plumber to install and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in a manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, installations, repairs, and maintenance of commercial plumbing mechanisms. This role involves planning, assembling, installing, maintaining, and pressure testing all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes. Responsibilities + Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated. + Follow building plans and blueprints to ensure accurate installations. + Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies efficiently. + Record and document repair and machine maintenance information. + Understand and read plans, drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements. + Follow lockout-tagout procedures and perform preventative maintenance activities. + Remove and replace worn components as necessary. + Communicate effectively with all plant personnel and collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals. + Identify all safety risks and requirements. + Keep project site clean and organized. + Conduct regular inspections of structural facilities or equipment, and read blueprints for specifications of particular work assignments for ongoing projects. Essential Skills + At least 3 years of plumbing experience in a commercial or industrial facility. + Knowledge of state plumbing codes and regulations. + Possession of a plumbing certification or licensure. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Journeyman or Masters License preferred. Why Work Here?
