**Job Title: Plumber** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled and self-reliant plumbers to join our construction team for a student housing project at a local college. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and testing piping systems in newly constructed commercial buildings. This role requires the ability to work independently, interpret blueprints, and coordinate with other trades on-site. **Responsibilities** + Install water supply lines, drainage systems, and vent piping according to construction plans and building codes. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to determine layout and materials. + Select and cut pipes to required lengths using appropriate tools and techniques. + Assemble and install pipe sections, fittings, and valves using hand and power tools. + Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. + Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure timely and accurate installation. + Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols. + Document work progress and report any issues or delays to the project manager. **Essential Skills** + Proven experience in new construction plumbing, preferably in residential or institutional settings. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Strong understanding of plumbing codes and safety regulations. + Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment. + Excellent problem-solving and time management skills. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
