Job Description

We are seeking skilled apprentices and journeymen plumbers for a long-term opportunity. The role involves working on new construction projects, specifically 6-story walk-ups and institutional projects.

ResponsibilitiesWork with cast iron, copper, and pipe sizes ranging from 0.5 to 4 inches.Perform rough-ins and install mechanical joints, Wirsbo pipe, faucets, toilets, and piping.Potentially work on heating and cooling equipment installations.Essential Skills3rd year apprenticeship completed.2+ years of experience in institutional or commercial plumbing.Proficient in rough-in and finishing plumbing tasks.Ability to work in Vancouver and/or UBC.Completed relevant schooling.Additional Skills & QualificationsRed Seal certification.Experience working with cast iron.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will work on construction sites both indoors and outdoors, specifically in Vancouver and UBC, with a focus in South Surrey for approximately 1.5 years. The team typically comprises a foreman, 1-5 journeymen, and 1-5 apprentices. Our work hours are generally from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime. The environment is family-oriented, with an emphasis on teamwork and long-term employment. We operate on a new build construction site that is not occupied, ensuring a focused working experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $46.00/hr.
