Job Description

We are seeking apprentices and journeymen plumbers for a dynamic project in Chilliwack. This role involves working on new construction projects across commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors, featuring unique installations with various types of piping including 12-14 inch plastics, cast iron, and domestic water systems. The position requires installation of pipes at heights up to 50 feet and the ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installations.

ResponsibilitiesInstall and maintain various piping systems including plastics, cast iron, and domestic water systems.Work at heights of up to 50 feet to complete installations.Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to guide installation processes.Collaborate with a team to complete installations on new construction sites.Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Essential Skills2nd-year apprentice or higher with at least 2200 hours of experience.Experience in light commercial construction.At least 1 year of experience in new construction.Ability to read and understand blueprints.Experience with hydronics and fan coils.Comfortable working at heights (up to 50 feet).Access to a personal vehicle.Additional Skills & QualificationsRed Seal certification.AWP ticket.Fall protection certification.Experience with HVAC piping.Gasfitter ticket.Experience in managing apprentices.Ability to read control guy shop drawings.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment involves both indoor and outdoor new construction settings, currently located in Chilliwack. This project is expected to end in January 2027. You will be part of a team of approximately 20 people, with free parking available. The current work schedule is 8 hours per day, with potential for overtime, and hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr.
