**Job Title: Plumbing Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated plumbing technician with at least six months of experience or familiarity with plumbing, electrical, or construction skilled labor, and mechanical aptitude. The ideal candidate will assist journeyman licensed technicians with new installation piping and heating and cooling units in residential, multi-family, and light industrial buildings. The role requires experience with soldering and the ability to assist with delivery, installation, and troubleshooting of pipes and plumbing equipment, as well as power vacuuming of pipes, cleaning up job sites, and lifting/moving units. **Responsibilities** + Assist journeyman technicians in new installation piping and heating and cooling units. + Support delivery, installation, and troubleshooting of pipes and plumbing equipment. + Perform power vacuuming of pipes and clean up job sites. + Lift and move units as necessary. + Utilize tools such as impact drill, sawzaw, wire strippers, lighted level, and more. **Essential Skills** + Experience with soldering. + 1+ year plumber helper experience or mechanical/construction aptitude. + Able to use impact driver and basic hand tools. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm, with expectations of 60+ hours per week due to ongoing projects. Employees will pair up with a journeyman and start their day either on the job site or at the shop. The dress code consists of jeans, work boots, and a work-appropriate tee shirt, with t-shirts provided by the company. Employees must have basic hand tools. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Des Moines, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $75000.00/yr. Specializes in designing, repairing, replacing, and installing HVAC comfort systems of existing homes and buildings of all shapes, sizes, and ages.
