**About The Role:**
+ As a CBRE PLS Surveyor, you’ll supervise a team responsible for carrying out complex land surveying assignments and establishing effective procedures for the quality control of all work products.
+ You will also be in responsible charge of land surveys assigned to you. You would manage project priorities, staff, work schedules and consultant services to deliver the land surveying program and ensure quality control of survey related products and data integrity.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide formal and responsible charge supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
+ Oversee High volume transaction Land Surveys
+ Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
+ Create and implement processes for vending the report quality. Monitor adherence to procedures and requirements.
+ Verify the accuracy of field data, calculation and information in land surveys and other reports.
+ Communicate targets and goals of the business unit to the team and Director. Provide updates on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
+ Manage expectations and answer difficult questions from clients. Explain land survey procedure used and conclusions.
+ Ensure the team is encouraging repeat business and referrals with client relationships. Work with the marketing team to find large and high-profile opportunities.
+ Make sure surveys you coordinate adhere to state statutes, industry standards, and contractual requirements.
+ Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own field, and how own field integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans.
+ Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
+ Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
+ Improve and modify current methods, processes, and standards within the job field.
**What You'll Need:**

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred with 3-5 years of proven experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
+ Licensed PLS in multiple states (Texas + others highly preferred)
+ 3–5 years of proven experience in field and office surveying
+ Skilled in AutoCAD, Carlson, ArcGIS, GPS, total stations, and lidar
+ Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities
+ Visionary approach with the drive to scale a national business
