We are seeking a skilled PLC Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and automation‑focused maintenance on manufacturing equipment at our Umatilla facility. This role involves troubleshooting electrical systems, maintaining PLC‑controlled machinery, and supporting both reactive and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. You will work within CMMS systems, complete digital work orders, and uphold GMP and safety standards.
Schedule & Pay-
Shift:
3:00 PM to 11:30 Monday through Friday, with frequent Saturdays and Sundays.
Pay:
$25–$35 per hour
ResponsibilitiesPerform reactive and preventative electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operationTroubleshoot and repair equipment using PLCs, automation systems, electrical schematics, and diagnostic toolsWork within CMMS systems, completing work orders and documenting repairs using a tabletMaintain GMP practices and support compliance with electrical and safety standardsService and maintain equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyors, control panels, sensors, VFDs, and other automated machineryEssential SkillsStrong experience reading schematics and troubleshooting electrical and automation systemsIndustrial maintenance experience with emphasis on electrical and PLC‑based repairsHands‑on experience with PLC platforms (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc preferred)Mechanically inclined with solid electrical, blueprint, and diagnostic skillsKnowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical maintenanceAdditional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of industrial or electrical maintenance experienceStrong electrical maintenance experience with PLC troubleshooting capabilityHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience in manufacturing or automated production environmentsWhy Work Here?

Work EnvironmentThis role operates in a manufacturing setting with both climate‑controlled and non‑climate‑controlled areas. Conditions may vary from hot to cold depending on the season, and some areas may be wet or humid. Expect hands‑on electrical and automation work across a variety of equipment and production lines.
