Plc Technician
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** The Maintenance Technician is responsible for leading other service technicians, designing solutions for complex problems, managing outside contractors, and handling emergencies. The role involves managing multiple projects and daily activities while ensuring company standards and timelines are met. The technician will also develop plans to achieve departmental and distribution goals. **Responsibilities** + Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. + Train employees as needed and provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programs. + Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks and suggest improvements. + Install and troubleshoot photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders. + Mentor technicians by providing guidance and motivation to help them achieve their goals. + Collaborate with teams to complete additional projects as assigned. + Complete all safety training as assigned by the company. + Work comfortably under conveyors, climb stairs to the roof, and lift over 50 lbs. **Essential Skills** + Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. + Experience with automated conveyor systems, including mechanical and electrical repairs. + Installation and troubleshooting of photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders. + Strong leadership and management skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in a distribution center environment. + Proficiency in PLC control systems. **Why Work Here?** Gain valuable experience by adding maintenance skills to your resume and working with cutting-edge industry equipment and technology. Candidates must be open to any 12-hour shift, with potential schedules of Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday. Training may require travel for 2-4 weeks. Flexibility in schedule shifts is essential as the position is new and schedules may change. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Union City, Georgia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $36.20 - $36.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
