Job Title: PLC Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled PLC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing robotic systems, equipment, and components. You will assist in developing diagnostic test tools, procedures, and maintaining detailed repair activity reports. In addition, you will help in creating proposals for equipment purchase, maintenance, and operation instructions while maintaining a clean and organized repair area.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robotic systems and equipment.Assist in the development and selection of diagnostic test tools and procedures.Maintain detailed reports of repair activities.Ensure good housekeeping of tools and equipment.Develop proposals for equipment purchase and maintenance.Complete assigned projects within negotiated time and cost schedules.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills5+ years of experience with assembly and troubleshooting.Ability to read blueprints and complex mechanical drawings.Proven experience in troubleshooting robotic equipment or industrial automation systems.Understanding of mechanical and electrical test equipment.Ability to read and interpret specifications, wiring diagrams, and part prints.Hands-on skill set required for fast-paced learning and application.Additional Skills & Qualifications2 or more years of proven competency in a technical capacity.Experience in robotics is preferred.Self-motivated and highly organized.Ability to lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods.Capability to handle multiple tasks and demonstrate initiative.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Indoor warehouse setting, non-airconditioned facility with large industrial equipment. Training and acclimation phase: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Permanent shifts available: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm or 12pm-8pm, and Tuesday to Saturday or Wednesday to Sunday, 6am-2/4pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooksville, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
