We are currently seeking a Playwright Automation Tester to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

 

Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Playwright (JavaScript or TypeScript). JAVA, Selenium Web driver, TestNG, Cucumber.

Experience with test automation frameworks and design patterns.Knowledge of API testing (REST, HTTP methods, JSON).Experience with test runners and reporting toolsMaintenance of present regression suites and test scripts.Experience with version control tools like Jenkins, Github, Bitbucket or GitLabReview Test reports and report defects.

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for modern web applications. The ideal candidate has strong experience in end‑to‑end testing, understands web technologies, and collaborates closely with developers, product owners, BAs and DevOps teams to ensure high‑quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end automated test scripts using PlaywrightBuild and enhance test frameworks using TypeScript / JavaScriptAutomate cross‑browser testingPerform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testingIntegrate Playwright tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and test scenariosDebug test failures, analyze root causes, and report defects clearlyMaintain test data and reusable test utilitiesEnsure tests follow best practices, coding standards, and version controlContribute to test strategy, test planning, and automation best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands‑on experience with PlaywrightProficiency in TypeScript or JavaScriptGood understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)Experience with UI automation and end‑to‑end testingKnowledge of test design techniquesHands‑on experience with Git or other version control systemsBasic understanding of REST APIs and API testingExperience running tests in headless mode and parallel executionFamiliarity with CI/CD toolsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills
