Platform Sales – Prime Finance – Vice President

 As a Vice President in the APAC Prime Finance Platform Sales team, you will lead strategic client conversations and mobilize internal deal teams to drive business origination. You will cover and acquire a portfolio of clients, developing strong relationships and maximizing revenue opportunities. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver the client agenda and enhance team efficiencies.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Map the client landscape, including wallet, market share, competitors, and opportunities. Source leads and independently manage prospective client deals throughout the sales cycle. Lead the deal team for bid processes and institutionalize the pitch across the firm. Drive market share across cash equities, equity derivatives, financing, and clearing. Develop and maintain strong and lasting client relationships. Maximize revenue with existing clients while building relationships with prospective clients. Partner with internal stakeholders to communicate effectively and deliver the client agenda. Work with the wider Sales team to improve efficiencies and drive team output.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Minimum 7 years of experience in Prime Sales or related field with knowledge of Prime Finance, Clearing, and execution platforms. Bachelor’s degree in Finance-related subject. Strong team player and partner. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Ability to navigate the bank and work across other Lines of Business. Attention to detail, effective time management, and multi-tasking ability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Experience working with Hedge Funds  Ability to partner with multiple business lines across advisory sales, derivatives, and prime finance. Mandarin and Cantonese language skills are preferred. Ability to help identify innovative solutions to best serve customers and manage risk.
