Our client, a leading organization in the entertainment and media industry, is seeking a Platform Owner to join their team. As a Platform Owner, you will be part of the Studio Economics department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strategic thinking, collaborative mindset, and technical expertise, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Platform Owner
**Location:** 100 South California Street, Burbank, CA - Hybrid – Tues-Thurs (preferred)
**Pay Range:** will discuss over call
Contract: 18 months on W2 only
**What's the Job?**
+ Define and drive the strategic vision and roadmap for the Studio Economics platform, focusing on modularity, scalability, and reuse.
+ Oversee the evolution of cloud-native platform architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and product needs.
+ Partner with Cloud and Data Architects to design reusable, governed, and discoverable data products and pipelines.
+ Develop platform services such as APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools to streamline development processes.
+ Champion operational excellence by establishing SLAs, automation standards, and monitoring baselines to support production operations.
**What's Needed?**
+ 8–10 years of experience in platform strategy, enterprise architecture, or technical product management within complex, multi-product environments.
+ Deep technical proficiency in AWS-native architectures, including services like Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, and Cognito.
+ Strong understanding of modular architecture principles, including service abstraction, API design, domain-driven design, and CI/CD integration patterns.
+ Experience driving platform adoption and standardization, including observability tooling and operational metrics.
+ Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement and cross-team coordination.
