Our client, a global leader in designing and manufacturing cutting-edge thermal and power conversion equipment, is seeking a Plastic Welder to join their team. As a Plastic Welder, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team invested in your success. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strongs problem solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
**Job Title:** Plastic Welder
**Location:** Mentor, OH
**Pay Range:** $19
**Shift: 1st shift**
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform plastic welding using techniques such as hot air welding, extrusion welding, and laser welding.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding methods.
+ Inspect welded seams and products for quality and compliance with specifications.
+ Maintain and calibrate welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
+ Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in welding or a related field is preferred.
+ The desire to learn a new skill and grow into a career
+ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
