Manpower Engineering is partnering with a Manufacturing leader in the thermal solutions industry for a Plant Quality Manager.
**Job Title: Plant Quality Manager**
**Location: Franklin, WI (travel to Calgary, Canada)**
**Pay: $95,000 - $140,000 plus 6% bonus (increased with incentive plan)**
**Duration: DIRECT HIRE**
**Position Description:**
We are hiring a Plant Quality Manager to establish and lead the quality function for our new manufacturing facility producing cooling and infrastructure products for data centers. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust quality system from the ground up, ensuring compliance, consistency, and continuous improvement as we launch and scale our operations.
**Travel requirements** for this role will start at 50% (traveling to Calgary, Canada twice per month) and decrease to 10% as our Franklin, WI plant ramps up to production by end of calendar 2025. After the Franklin plant is occupied, intermittent travel will be required to meet with customers, suppliers, other facilities, and Regional and Corporate meetings.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and implement plant-level quality systems, procedures, and documentation aligned with industry and customer standards.
+ Lead all aspects of quality control, quality assurance, and incoming/outgoing inspection processes.
+ Support start-up activities including PPAP’s, process validations, and quality documentation for new product introductions.
+ Collaborate with engineering and operations to define process controls and resolve quality issues at root cause.
+ Establish plant metrics and reporting systems for quality performance.
+ Lead internal audits and prepare for external/customer audits.
+ Drive continuous improvement in quality through lean Six Sigma tools
+ Train and develop quality technicians and inspectors.
**Required Education & Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably in HVAC, refrigeration, or industrial equipment production.
+ Experience implementing quality systems in a plant start-up or ramp up.
+ Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
+ Strong problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
