Role

As the Plant HR Head, you will be part of the HR function and will report to the Manufacturing HR Head.
The purpose of your role will be to cater to the overall HR and IR requirements existing in the unit or multiple units. This role will handle Talent acquisition, Talent Management, Capability drives, Employee Engagement, Diversity& Inclusion, CSR and Liasioning. The role would categorically partner with business to co-create a collaborative team driving seamlessly the business plan.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Design and implement HR and IR Strategy in line with Business plan for achieving organization goals
2. Enhance employee productivity through focussed employee engagement interventions and build Harmonious & congenial environment through proactive HR&IR strategies
3. Drive HR Functional Strategy pertaining to Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Talent Management and Employee Engagement
4. Establish annual HR Business Plan & budgets for effective utilization ensuring desired outcomes
5. Ensure legal and safety compliance adherence as per applicable laws and acts
6. Liaise with State/District Administration to include DC, Commissioner MCG, GMDA, HSVP, HSIIBC, DHBVN and the Police Authorities
7. Manage the Union and their expectations
8. Create a safe and secure work environment through employee centred policies and practices

A Day in the life

As the Plant HR Head, you will be involved in heading various HR & IR requirements of the unit. You will also lead the delivery of a proactive and customer focused HR service across the plant. The provision of effective support, guidance and advice to managers and staff members and the delivery of strategic and operational people projects and initiatives that maximise performance and enable all employees to engage and contribute to the development of the organisation.

Academic Qualification & Experience

- Master's degree in HR/ Maters in Personnel Management & IR or MSW
- 20+years of experience in HR preferrably Manufacturing Industry, with exposure to working in unionized Plants
- Relevant experience in Corporate communication, CSR and Liaising with Government authorities
